InFocus Volunteer Morning
A hands-on morning in the gardens at InFocus, followed by the chance to learn more about the charity and the work they do.
InFocus supports young adults with serious sight conditions alongside complex disabilities, helping them build independence, develop communication skills and discover what they’re passionate about. Set on 14 acres near Exeter, the gardens are far more than a backdrop — they’re a working space where students practise wayfinding and cane skills, learn about food growing, and find room to breathe.
By giving a couple of hours in the garden, you’ll be helping maintain these grounds for the people who rely on them every day.
We’ll meet, get stuck in with whatever needs doing (no experience needed — tools and gloves provided), and afterwards hear a bit more about InFocus and the role the gardens play in their work.
