About us

Built for leaders who think the long game

Positive Nature Network is an outdoors-led network for purpose-driven business leaders in the South West who want space to think, relationships that matter, and practical ways to strengthen the environment their work depends on.

To create structured outdoor spaces where leaders can think clearly and take practical action

We're a not-for-profit organisation. No shareholders, no agenda beyond the work itself. We exist to bring together commercially aware, values-led people who understand that the health of their business and the health of the places they work in are not separate questions.

We do that through walks, conversations and volunteer days — outdoors, across Devon and the South West, with partners who are doing real environmental work on the ground.

Five values, quietly held

01

Connection

Connection to place, to people, and to responsibility. Conversation comes before action. Relationships built through shared values last longer than referral culture.

02

Clarity

Space outdoors creates better thinking. Better thinking creates better business. Most leaders lack time and perspective. Walking creates both.

03

Integrity

No greenwashing. No performative sustainability. Quiet, credible leadership. We don't shout about our values — we demonstrate them.

04

Practical impact

Small, considered environmental decisions compound. Volunteer days provide the opportunity to get your hands dirty and deliver measurable local impact.

05

Local stewardship

The South West landscape underpins regional prosperity. Tourism, agriculture, wellbeing — it all rests on the quality of our natural environment. Protecting it is our shared responsibility.

An outdoors-led network for business leaders who believe thriving places and thriving businesses go hand in hand.

That's what we are. Nothing more complicated than that.

Thoughtful leaders, not activists

PNN is designed for people aged 30–55 who are building businesses with impact beyond profit — commercially grounded, values-led, and curious rather than performative.

Many align with B Corp thinking, whether certified or not.

  • Building businesses with impact beyond profit
  • Care about the South West's environment and communities
  • Value intelligent conversation over transactional networking
  • Understand that sustainability is strategic, not cosmetic
  • Commercially aware but values-led

Intelligent. Measured. Never preachy.

PNN doesn't shout. It doesn't use alarmist environmental language, corporate ESG jargon or wellness clichés. It invites. The tone is calm, grounded, strategic — the way a thoughtful business leader speaks while walking outdoors.
